There is no doubt that the issue of domestic violence with social, cultural and security dimensions worthwhile and study important issues, due to the seriousness of the phenomenon of domestic violence, the social work and through professional practice with the domestic side can reduce this phenomenon and take remedial steps that strengthen the family's ability to solve its problems by itself or with the participation of social psychologist.

Therefore, this study aimed to highlight the role of social work in the face of the phenomenon of domestic violence, where he dealt with the motives and causes of domestic violence, the most important explanatory theories him, and the role of social work in the reduction of this phenomenon by educating the community on how to cope with domestic violence problems.
