Abstract EN

It is noticed that the traditional or classical educational system adopted by the Algerian universities has become inefficient.

This is caused by the important changes in local and international communities under the influence of information globalization.

Consequently, incapacity toward the socioeconomic demands pushed the decision makers to look for successful experiences with other educational systems around the world.

As an attempt to improve the performance of Algerian universities and part of the national reforms in higher education the LMD system was adopted.
