Free trade competition is the mainstay of the market economy and the most important means of developing the national economy under globalization, and depends mainly on the freedom of entry and exit from markets for all economic operators, on the fairness and transparency of transactions, and the simplicity and effectiveness of laws and regulations that run the economy.

Corruption is the most important threat to competition, as it manifests itself in the use of power and influence to monopolize the production of goods and services, the use of office by public officials and the receipt of bribes to facilitate the acquisition of various licenses by people who do not deserve them, raising the cost of work, disrupting pricing by the law of supply and demand, and damaging the competitiveness of firms.

This paper seeks to clarify ways to protect competition from all forms of corruption.
