Our country is living in this critical reality, in which it establishes a new phase based on estrangement with a previous stage in which the holders of power have been corrupted, by seizing the state's resources and embezzling public money, as we continue to prosecute and hold accountable former officials who betrayed trust and plundered public money in a way that harmed the country's economy, and deprived Algerians.

One of their rights, and Islamic Sharia has paid attention to public money and its preservation, and the Algerian legislator also addressed this crime of embezzlement of public funds in Ordinance 06-01 amending the Penal Code, and because the crime of embezzlement is of a special nature that distinguishes it from other corruption crimes, this crime had to be studied on Light Islamic jurisprudence and Algerian law.
