Abstract EN

The interest of all human societies has recently grown in the concept of sustainable development, which has evolved from simplicity in terms of focusing on the economic dimension of development, to the political, legal, institutional, human, social and environmental dimensions of development.

Therefore, the United Nations has adopted many programs that emphasize the holistic concept of sustainable development, including sustainable development 2030.

At a national level, we find that Iraq has suffered from the effects of the heavy load left by the previous regime, as well as the unstable situations after 2003, and the accompanying imbalances of security and stability, because of terrorism and the deterioration of the security situation, and the increasing number of demonstrations, which negatively affected the performance of successive Iraqi governments, repeatedly in setting a comprehensive and sustainable development strategy that responds to the goals of the Millennium and meets major and basic needs
