Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the effect of teaching in the Hayes model on mathematics achievement and mathematical thinking among first – average student.

An intentional sample was chosen consisting of (57) first – grade students in two divisions, by (28) students of the experimental group, and (29) students of the group.

Control, and an achievement test and a mathematical thinking test were prepared and applied to the exploratory sample in order to verify the validity and consistency, and then applied to the research sample, the results showed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group in both the achievement test and thinking in mathematics.
