Additionally, it provides public control over the judiciary's work through the transmission of the court sessions.

This study aims at: first, clarifying the principle of sessions openness in the Algerian legislation and in the regional besides international charters taking into consideration both people and procedures.

Second, identifying the importance of this principle and its restrictions regarding the citizens' right to media and to the benefit of justice.

Lastly, determining how the public opinion affects decisions coming from judiciary sides and the legislator's convictions to pass laws compatible with public opinion issues.
