Abstract EN

The National Associations generally and the Local Associations especially by all its types is considered as the most important actor for the Participatory Democracy.

It is considered as the space in which citizens expressed their needs, ambitions and concerns, as well as the contribution in support of Local Development, and that these Assemblies usually considered as the representing and expressing destination of citizens.

In this article the focus is on the National Local Assemblies as a picture of civil society and its participation in assuming its different roles in support of the Participatory Democracy in Algeria and the outright support to Local Development.
