Abstract EN

Social protection, especially the social safety net, is a fundamental pillar of the welfare state in the State of Kuwait during the past three decades, as it is an inherent obligation of the state towards some deserving social groups with the aim of protecting them from poverty and enabling them to achieve a better standard of living.

The study aims to identify issues of concern, goals, values, procedures, targets, essential effects and application aspects of social protection policies during the analysis period (1960-2019).

The results of the study indicate the acceptance of the first hypothesis, “There are statistically significant fundamental differences between issues of concern for social protection policies.

Partly accepting the second hypothesis “There are statistically significant fundamental differences between the goals and values related to social protection policies, as well as partially accepting the third hypothesis.” There are statistically significant differences between the application aspects of social protection policies and the results of their implementation and their impact on society the fourth hypothesis is accepted.

There are statistically significant fundamental differences between the expected interactions between social protection policies and the forces affecting their development and implementation during the stages of their analysis.
