Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the development of spatial cognition i children aged (5-6-7) years for age as a whole and for gender differences for each age.

The study sample was 60 children and kindergarten children Primary School in the city of Baghdad, second Karkh 2018-2019 The researcher used the scale Saleh (2015) to measure the development of spatial perception of children because it is best suited to achieve its research objectives The Spss program was used to extract the results of the current research.

The researcher concluded that spatial cognition begins at the age of (5) years.

Also, there are no differences between the sexes in spatial cognition.

In the light of the results that have emerged, the researcher has developed a set of recommendations and suggestions
