Factors Affecting the Scientific Competence of Staff Members in Social works Colleges
This study aims at identifying the factors affecting the scientific competence of staff members in social Service Colleges through a range of variables, which are research facilities, the working environment, the promotion system academic freedom, research policies, and a standard for collecting information and data on factors affecting the scientific competence of was applied on seventy-nine individual members of the colleges of Social Service.

The study reaches several results, the most important of which is that the factors related to scientific research facilities, working environment, research policies, the promotion system, and the factors related to academic freedom are moderate and the study also states the most significate suggestions to develop proposals for developing the scientific competencies of staff members which are the need to provide modern technologies for their work requirements and mechanisms to develop and modernize them, as well as the need to spread the culture of teamwork among staff members and colleagues and to exchange experiences and open fields of training and learning from each other.

In addition to the need to increase the monetary incentive and to modify remuneration policies and bonuses for staff members.
