The growing phenomenon of bullying in schools and the development of studies around it is due to a number of reasons, including the devastating effects of this phenomenon, especially on some students, Which led them to commit suicide, which led to the awareness of the people of the phenomenon and pressure on schools to stop it, And the media to raise awareness, In recent years, scientific and educational studies at the local and Arab levels have received attention towards bullying in schools, These occupations include social work in general and individual service in particular because it is the most common way of dealing with the behavior of individuals, especially those that take the nature of violence, This study seeks to address this phenomenon from the perspective of CBT in the service of the individual through the use of techniques and tactics of Cognitive behavioral therapy.
Objectives of the study: Main Objective: To test the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy in reducing the phenomenon of school bullying in middle school students.
Study Assumptions: Main hypothesis: There is a statistically significant relationship between the practice of cognitive behavioral therapy and the reduction of the phenomenon of school bullying in middle school students.
the importance of studying: - Global attention to the phenomenon and at the local level, the many problems resulting from the use of behaviors within the school, And its emergence significantly after the January 25 Revolution, Which led researchers and professionals to search for the causes of the phenomenon and treatment.
Results: - The results of the study reached the validity of the main hypothesis: It is "a statistically significant relationship between the pre- and post-measurements of the responses of members of the experimental group on the school bullying scale in favor of the professional intervention program using techniques and techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy".
