The competition law does not ban the domination stand as such.
(the unique exception lies perhaps in what is commonly called “concentration” procedure).
The big size of the company is not itself banned.
Only the economic power abuse is prohibited when it leads to a limitation of the competition.
One cannot, in fact, condemn a given company which, thanks to its economic performance, overtakes its competitors to the point of dominating the market.
The customers do belong to the tradesman that proves to be tactful in attracting them and tries hard to keep them.

Le droit de la concurrence n'interdit pas la position dominante telle quelle.
(la seule exception réside, peut-être, dans ce qu'il est habituellement appelé procédure de «concentration»).
La grande taille de l'entreprise n'est pas interdite en soi.
Seule l'abus de la puissance économique est prohibé lorsqu'il aboutit à une limitation de la concurrence.
On ne saurait, en effet condamner une entreprise qui, grâce à ses performances économiques, a dépassé ses concurrents au point de dominer le marché.
La clientèle appartient au commerçant qui se montre assez habile pour l'attirer et assez diligent pour la conserver.
