Abstract EN

With the increasing emphasis on nonpharmacologic therapies for people with chronic pain, psychological interventions by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) receive a substantial amount of research, since it helps the patient see that emotional and psychological factors influence perception of pain and behaviors that are associated with it.

Conventional CBT aims to change dysfunctional thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, whereas CBT forms that include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), focus on “changing the influence of these experiences on a person's behavior to improve overall quality of life.

The aim of this paper was to determine the most important CBT technics, have been explored in recent intervention of individuals with chronic pain.
