Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the nature of the relationship between self-efficacy and the motivation to learn about a sample of secondary school students in Aflou.

The study also sought to know the effect of certain parameters such as sex.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study two criteria were used.

The first tool is self-efficacy built by Robert Tipton and Everett Worthington; the second motivational instrument for learning by Ahmed Duqa, Loursi Abdelkader and Gharbi Munia (2007).

The study yielded the following results: There are no statistically significant differences in self-efficacy by sex (men, women), There are no statistically significant differences in motivation for learning according to the sex variable (men, women), The existence of a correlation between self-efficacy and the motivation to learn in secondary second year.
