The 'Shot-by-shot' model is a kind of analysis of audiovisual works in general and of films in particular.

It is an analysis of the smallest unit of meaning that makes up a film, by looking at it individually and then linking it to its pre and post contexts, finding meanings and indications and then incorporating them into an interactive database.
