This study aims to show the effects of the recent oil crisis on Algeria's foreign trade and its trade balance from 2014 to 2018.

The study reached a number of important results in the whole to the fact that the Algerian economy is still subject to fluctuations of oil prices in world markets, as oil exports still contribute on average about 95% of the country's financial income, while exports outside hydrocarbons did not exceed At best, 5%, which made the export receipts do not cover the import payments in most of the study time, and this confirms the dependence of the Algerian economy abroad, with the possibility of its future fall into the trap of financial dependence, and this is confirmed by the results of foreign trade in the period under study.
