Abstract EN
This study explore the impact of tourism on economic growth considering Co2 emissions and trade openness in Algeria.
In the empirical analysis, unit root and cointegration tests using annual series from 1990 to 2017, are performed to examine the long-run equilibrium relationship among Co2, tourism, growth and trade openness.
This positive long-run equilibrium between variables may suggest that tourism increase the level of Co2 emissions and has a statistically significant impact on sustainable economic growth as on tourism and trade openness in Algeria.
