Over the past decade, English has a great emergence in the Algerian context known for its linguistic and cultural diversity.
The purpose of our contribution is to analyze comments on a youtube around the subject of this language in Algeria.
We will focus on the status of this idiom in Algeria by describing the representations of subscribers of popular channels on the platform to find out their judgments.
We asked ourselves questions about the position of English in the country, its symbolic value, its competition with French, their relations and its impact on the Algerian identity discourse.
We stipulate that the speech produced by Internet users presents itself as an appreciative judgment towards English conveying a desire to replace French with this language; which includes the establishment of a new hierarchy of languages in Algeria.
We propose an analysis of comments in technodiscursive situations using a sociolinguistic approach.

Durant la dernière décennie, l'anglais a connu une grande émergence dans le contexte algérien connu par sa diversité linguistique et culturelle.
Le but de notre contribution est d'analyser des commentaires sur un youtube autour du sujet de cette langue en Algérie.
Nous allons mettre l'accent sur le statut de cette idiome en Algérie et ce en décrivant les représentations des abonnés de chaines populaires sur la plateforme pour découvrir leurs jugements.
Nous nous sommes posé des questions quant à la position de l'anglais dans le pays, sa valeur symbolique, sa concurrence avec le français, leur relations et son impact sur le discours identitaire algérien.
Nous stipulons que le discours produit par les internautes se présente comme un jugement appréciatif envers l'anglais véhiculant une volonté d'un remplacement du français par cette langue; ce qui inclut l'instauration d'une nouvelle hiérarchisation de langues en Algérie.
Nous proposons une analyse des commentaires dans des situations technodiscursives en utilisant une approche sociolinguistique.
