Abstract EN

The present study aims to prepare a program for extracurricular activities and to reveal its effects on the self-efficacy of the fourth grade pupils in primary schools.

The study sample consisted of the same study population, which consisted of 249 pupils representing the total number of fourth grade pupils for two primary schools, According to the statistics provided by the Education Directorate of Tlemcen State.

The control group was represented by Abdelghani school, by 123 pupils.

The experimental group was represented by the school of Belkaid Benamar by 126 pupils.

The two researchers followed in their study the experimental method, which initially measured the average degree of self-efficacy in each of the two groups using the study tools and the questionnaire of self-efficacy prepared by their-self after ascertaining the psychometric characteristics (honesty and persistence), which results the ence of significant differences between The average of self-efficacy's degree in each of the two groups followed by a program of extracurricular activities on the experimental group which took nine (09) weeks which extended throughout the second semester.

After its implementation, there was another measurement for the two groups (Experimental and control), which Its results shows the presence of statistically significant differences between the average degree of self-efficacy in the experimental group and the control group in favour of the experimental group, especially on the dimensions of power efficiency and initiative level.

The results of the research were finally discussed and some recommendations made.
