This article discusses the role of an important social institution (Family) in protecting its children from taking the drugs throughout numerous axes such as the role of the family in the process of the counseling and guidance of the children via educating them upon self-confidence and making decisions based on good judgment and not being influenced and obeying the opinions of others from bad friends, The role of parents as a good example, the family and good socialization methods, also the protection of children from bad friends, and creating the appropriate family environment.
