It is a research in which we have treated the question of the disposition of polysemy in the general linguistic dictionary, considering it as a dictionary entry raising the question of the multiple meaning in a word.

We have begun to define the conventional meaning of the term "polysemy" in order to distinguish its types.

The lexical entries for polysemy found in the general language dictionaries reveal no distinction between its types and are subject to a legacy approach and also to a very general and irregular description.

We presented a view to overcome this lapses, which we built on the design of mathematical rules that automatically generate polysemy and provide the entries that concern it in the dictionary in an organized manner.

The rules we have proposed are based on the general meaning of the root word and the extent to which it means the origin of the common sense of all derivatives.

The general meaning is the point of intersection between the trunk and all its derivatives.

If the lexical entries at the substitution axis are arranged vertically in the dictionary and subjected to a binding relation, we say a polysemy.

If an entry only partially interacts with others having similar bases without being of the same derivational origin or of the same affiliation, we says a homonymy.

Our proposal is part of the enrichment of linguistic corpus processing methods, believing that our proposal is a mechanism that improves the traditional vesion and regularizes the bad order of lexical entries in the dictionary.
