This study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of social networking sites - Facebook - and mental health of university students, To achieve the objectives of the study was used descriptive approach, The sample of the study consisted of 97 university students from the University of Mohamed Lamine Debaghine Setif 02, Two questionnaires were adopted, The first is the use of social networking sites- Facebook -and the second test of mental health, After analyzing the results of the study we reached several results, most notably, There are significant differences in the use of social networking sites - Facebook - according to gender variable, There were no statistically significant differences in the level of mental health of university students due to the gender variable, There is a statistically significant relationship between the use of social networking sites - Facebook - and the level of mental health of university students
