Al-Sahaba has a great position in Islam religion.

They were the ones who honored by the companionship of the Prophet Mohamed, peace be upon him, strove and fought to raise the word of Islam.

However, some of the misguided sects speak badly about Al-Sahaba and cursed them, and some of them even infidels them.

One of these most popular sects, namely: Al-Shiyea.

Some of Al-Shiyea have a clear attitude toward Al-Sahaba, such as Al-Rawafid, as they insult Al-Sahaba and disbelieve most of them, and some of them, like Al-Shiyea Al-Ziydia, whose an attitude from Al-Sahaba needed to be researched and traced to know the truth of their opinion, hence there is a necessity to study the attitude of Al-Ziydia toward Al-Sahaba.

In this case, Al-Ziydia consists of two groups, the first one agreed with Ahl Al-Sunna in forbidding the insult of Al-Sahaba, curse them, accuse them by blasphemy and diminish their rank, and this opinion adopted by Al-imam Zaid bin Ali bin Al Hussein, most of Al-Ziydia Imams', and Al-Haduia sect.

The second group, which includes Al-Jarudiya, Al-Sulaymaniyah and Al-Houthien sects, insulted and vilified Al-Sahaba.

Some of Al-Ziydia, such as Al-Salihiyya and Al-Petri, are adopted a neutral attitude about Al-Sahaba.
