This research aims to clarify the influence of the Inscriptions on gravestones in the third AH / ninth century AD on the inscriptions executed on Fayyum-style textiles that belong to the same period, by linking the shapes of letters on both, and trying to date the undated textile pieces depending On dated tombstones, The calligraphy used on Fayyum textiles is distinguished by that it does not follow the usual rules of Kufic script, and the letters existing in it take the inscribed form.
