إن اللغة العربية لغة ترادف حيث شاع للمسمى الواحد أسماء كثيرة و لكن هناك من أنكر وجود هذه الظاهرة (الترادف) و ذهب إلى أن هذه الأسماء و إن كانت تظهر أنها مترادفة فكل اسم منها يدل على معنى لا يوجد في ما يظن أنه مرادف له.
و مما تهدف إليه هذه الدراسة محاولة معرفة حجج القائلين بوجود الترادف و أقوال المنكرين له مع التركيز على أقوال أبي هلال العسكري من خلال كتابه الفروق اللغوية.
Abstract EN
The Arabic language is known for being one of synonymy.
It has been known that one word has many equivalent synonyms.
However, there are many people who reject and deny the fact that all the words have true synonyms.
These (lexicologists) claim that there are always slight nuances between the words and true and perfect synonymy do not exist.
This study attempts to know the evidence given by both sides with focus on Abu HIlal El Askari and mainly his book entitled “Linguistic differences”.

La langue arabe est connue pour être la langue de la synonymie.
Tout mot a la possibilité d’avoir plusieurs mots équivalents.
Cependant, nombreux sont les lexicologues qui rejettent et nient l'existence de ce phénomène qu’est la synonymie.
Ces derniers affirment qu’il existe toujours de légères nuances entre les mots et que la synonymie vraie et parfaite n’existe pas.
À ce sujet, la présente étude tente de confronter deux points de vue soutenus par les deux antagonistes ; ceux qui sont pour l'existence de synonymie, et ceux qui sont contre, tout en mettant l’accent sur Abu Hilal El Askari et principalement sur son livre intitulé Différences linguistiques.
