Abstract EN

This research deals with the style of the companion of Gareeb Al-Quran inexplaining compound expressions which have a meaning that the single words cannot denoted.

This researcher showed six types of those compound expression like the verbal that starts with a verb, the nominal that starts with noun, etc.

This research showed that certain expressions were interpretations of ( In their hearts is a disease ) ( Al-Baqarah 110 ), which was interpreted as hypocrisy and ( the feeblest old age ) ( An-Nahl 170 ) which was interpreted as dementia and insanity and ( the way farer ) ( An – Nisaa 163 ) asthe strange who left his family.

These were referred to as antonomasia by the interpreters.
