Abstract EN

Massive multi-input multioutput (MIMO) is apromising technique for the next generation of wireless communicationnetworks.

In this paper, we focus on using the ray-launchingbased channel simulation to model massive MIMOchannels.

We propose one deterministic model and one statisticalmodel for indoor massive MIMO channels, both based on ray-launchingsimulation.

We further propose a simplified versionfor each model to improve computational efficiency.

We simulatethe models in indoor wireless network deployment environmentsand compare the simulation results with measurements.

Analysisand comparison show that these ray-launching based simulationmodels are efficient and accurate for massive MIMO channelmodelling, especially with application to indoor network planningand optimisation.
