There was a lot of talk in later ages about language and its optimal function, and linguistic research went beyond the origins and definitions, deepening the purposes and functions, so linguistic theories proliferated, analyzing this strange cosmic phenomenon, and the latest in modern linguistics was the functional theory, that is, the theory of functional grammar (Simon Dyck), Then the Moroccan (Ahmed Al-Mutawakkil) was influenced by its transfer to the Arabic language, trying to apply it in Arabic grammar, to saturate it with modern linguistic terms and to find a theory for a comprehensive syntax that serves all languages, and since this theory is looking at the communicative and deliberative aspect, the Arabic language is a language of communication par excellence, We will try to prove the existence of a functionalism rooted in our Arab heritage that may be more sophisticated than what Al-Mutawakel tried to reach through his functional linguistic efforts.
