This research will address the importance of borrowing in Arabic lexicon, for its outstanding value, as a mechanism of lexical creation.

Or linguistic generating which the lexicography focuses on to build his lexicon balance.

Also, this research aims to study this linguistic phenomenon out of a two-way influence between Arabic and other Semitic languages; Same as the Semitic languages, Arabic was a language of knowledge and civilization, that faced with an influx of knowledge's and sciences, and has failed to address because of it linguistic impoverishment.

As a result, the Arabic language forced to choose either authenticity or borrowing to cover the language deficits of those terms coming from other nation's civilizations and cultures.

The Arabic language became, thus, a melting pot of words of those knowledge and cultures of non-Arab origin.

It opened up another way for the growth of Arabic through communication between languages the context of what is commonly known as linguistic borrowing in general.
