Abstract EN

This article attemps to shed light on the contribution of one the hijri fourth-century well-known figures in linguistics called "Abu Djaafar El Nahass", who died in 338, in the justification of naming and how Ar' judgments.

The investigation takes his masterpiece entitled The Explanation of the Nine Poems as its subject matter and tries to probe the author's accounts in it, as well as gathering and ordering data according to the order of the poems.

Finally, data is compared with other data found in other old prominent books and The Quran.
