In many cases, the writer does not speak in his name, but authorizes an imaginary person, who takes his place in the process of storytelling, and this is what we see in most of the work of the Moroccan writers, especially those who write in French, in the so-called biography of biographies such as Ahmed Safrioui and Idris Shraibi.

The novel "The Simple Past" by Moroccan writer Idriss Shraibi occupies a special place within the Frenchlanguage narrative fabric, accompanied by the novel "Civilization Ma" by the same author.

These two rich and varied styles of writing are constantly present in the French-style cultural structure.

For one fact, each one illuminates the other.
