This article deals with the subject of technical symbolism, in the framework of the Arabic rhetoric, the most important of which is the flag of the three branches (metonymy, metaphor, and synecdoche).

They represent - as many see it - the concept of general symbolism, which in the past has shaped the essence of symbolic creation in all its forms.
