The Eloquence of Ecart in the Holy QuranThis paper aims to spot the light on one of the most common linguistic phenomena in the Holy Quran.

This phenomenon is named “the transposition” which embodied an expressive energy.

Therefore, the ecart appears through its composition contrary to the apparent requirement respecting the requirements of meaning and all the circumstances surrounding the verbal act.

The recantation in this context is regarded as a rhetorical anecdote or moral joke that cannot be achieved but through this technique which is reflected in various styles of the arts of speech.
