Abstract EN

The issue of the French nuclear bombings in Reggan in the Algerian Sahara is one of the very sensitive and dangerous issues with regard to their negative ecological and health consequences on the region and its inhabitants in particular.

the importance of this research work lies in revealing the French army’s crimes in the Algerian Sahara which was made by the latter as a field to execute its heinous nuclear crime and transformed the Sahara into a radioactive waste depot which effects are still visible up today.

the study also aims at shedding light on the atrocities and barbary of the French army which were not limited at exterminating the Algerians through the habitual traditional methods but they also used science and technology to serve despicable purposes, thus surpassing the crimes committed by the Nazis against the people under their domination.
