International treaties are considered one of the most important sources of public international law as they represent the true will of states to express their obligations and acquire rights towards other states parties with them in that treaty, whether they are bilateral or collective, and go through several stages until they become effective at the international level and thus acquire legal power and if a country ratifies the treaty, it becomes effective, and becomes effective and enforceable with the rights and obligations it imposes, according to the Algerian legislator, if the president of the republic ratifies the international treaty, it will gain legal force and become enforceable at the national level after obtaining the approval of Parliament, so that the Algerian legislator has made the treaty transcend ordinary laws in case of conflict, as it attaches importance to the interests of the international community.
