The state of health of the Algerian population at the end of 2016 drawn up on the basis of several health, socio-economic, demographic and environmental indicators reflects the health reality of the country.

L’état de santé de la population algérienne à fin 2019 dressé sur la base de plusieurs indicateurs sanitaires, socioéconomiques, démographiques et environnementaux reflète la réalité sanitaire du pays.

Malgré les insuffisances constatées, notre pays a réalisé des progrès considérables dans le domaine de la santé, notamment, l’amélioration de l’état de santé de la population par la couverture en lits d’hospitalisation, en structures de santé et en personnel médical et paramédical.
