Abstract EN

Study Diyarbakir Province witnessed a number of deadly epidemics and diseases during the study period (423-595H / 1031-1197G).

These epidemics have devastated the population and have had a profound impact on the deaths in the Region.

The impact of these epidemics were also reflected in the deterioration of the population activities such as agriculture, craftsman activity and all production forces.

These epidemics, especially the plague, were more deadly and led to increasing of the deaths in the affected regions.

The present study also highlights the social effects of these epidemics and diseases such as famines and inhabitants removal from these affected places due to increasing of deaths.

The study also seeks to identify the methods used to deal with these epidemics and diseases, whether by the authority or the public in reducing the spread and elimination of these deadly epidemics.
