فعالية السياستين النقدية و المالية على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر : دراسة قياسية باستخدام منهجية (ARDL)‎ خلال الفترة (1990-2018)‎

Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is to measure and analyse the affectiveness of monetary and fiscal policies on the economic growth in Algeria during the period 1990-2018 by using a set of variables expressed in real values, which represent the most important measures taken by the authorities to increase the GDP.

To estimate the relationship between the variables, we applied the ARDL methodology by using (Eviews9).

This study showed the weakness of the decisions of monetary policy and fiscal policy on the economic growth in short and long terms, this is due to the fragile structure of the algerian economy and its great dependence on the hydrocarbons sector, In addition to the non-independence of monetary policy from the government, despite all the reforms it has undergone and the adoption of an irrational fiscal policy.

We recommended to apply a combination of two policies (policy-mix)which is based on the non-contradiction between them and aim at stabilising and raising the levels of growth.
