This Study Aims At Highlighting The Municipality's Role In Achieving Sustainable Local Development As The Most Important And Reliable Proximity Administration In The Implementation Of The General Policy Of The State, Especially That Algeria Has Committed, In Its Development Programs, To Achieve The Dimensions Of Sustainable Development Through Ratifying International Treaties And Conventions, And Enacting Laws On Environment And Sustainable Development.

The Study Concluded That The Municipality Is The Optimal Partner For The State In Achieving Comprehensive Development By Moving Towards A New Model Of Management Based On Initiatives And Projects That Create Wealth, Encouraging Local Investment And Governing Local Development
