Abstract EN

Financial inclusion has become increasingly important internationally, especially after the global financial crisis of 2008.

In this context, financial inclusion has attracted the interest of international financial institutions, central banks and monetary institutions, as well as other issues of equal importance, such as capacity building for SMEs, establish credit bureaus and the exchange of investor and borrower data between countries for better protection of economies.

In this regard, the present work tends to examine the reality of financial inclusion in Algeria, focusing on the concept of financial inclusion, its principles and its importance.

At the end of this work, we came to the existence of barriers to financial inclusion.

This fact has led us to develop a number of recommendations aimed at activating mechanisms to promote financial inclusion in Algeria
