Abstract EN

Cells of the immune system are now recognized in the adipose tissue which, in obesity, produces proinflammatory chemokines and cytokines.

Several herbs and spices have been in use since ancient times which possess anti-inflammatory properties.

In this perspective, I discuss and propose the usage of these culinary delights for the benefit of human health.
