Islamic financing formats suitable for financing infrastructure projects : Dubai Islamic bank case study

We aim through this research to explain the role of Islamic banks in financing infrastructure projects that require huge sums to finance them through many sources of financing provided by Islamic banks.

Through this research, we found that Dubai Bank provides appropriate formulas for financing infrastructure projects, where the proportion of contribution and participation in infrastructure financing was estimated at 34% Moreover, the contribution of cheques in financing infrastructure projects was estimated at 18%.

So, this research recommends the necessity of encouraging Islamic banks To finance infrastructure projects, seeing the appropriateness of the financing forms they provide for such projects.
