Abstract EN

This study seeks to measure the impact of FDI in Algeria on the development of the tourism sector and economicsecurity, so the importance of this sector as a leading industries, whose revenues compete with the revenues of other sectors is a source of hard currency and a tool to develop productive sectors, especially services and an important resource for many countries.

Using a descriptive and analytical approach through the theoretical framework of FDI and tourism potential in Algeria, as well as an attempt to assess the relationship between foreign investment flows to Algeria and the number of incoming tourists, based on the self-regression model for distributed deceleration periods.

The study concluded that there are several problems that continue to hinder the attraction of foreign direct investment towards the tourism sector, which resulted a weakened impact of FDI on the development of the tourism sector in Algeria
