The aim of this paper is to shed light on the subject of insurance supervision in accordance with Algerian legislation.

The State aims to protect the interests of the insured and the beneficiaries of the insurance contract by observing the legality of the insurance operations and the insurance companies as well.

As well as the promotion and clearance of the national insurance market for incorporation in economic and social activity, and exercised administrative and other technical control, and subject to this control insurance companies as well as insurance brokers, and the State has assigned the task of oversight to certain bodies identified in this research.
