Abstract EN

Islamic culture has an important place in teaching and learning foreign languages, especially Arabic, because it is a reflection of people's lives in their political, economic, social and educational aspects, and because it is considered as an essential component of the content of the educational subjects in this field.

therefore, this study aims to clarify the importance of employing Islamic cultural content in teaching Arabic to Turkish students.

it includes two main issues.

in the first one, the researcher defined the concept of Islamic culture and presented its characteristics and bases, he explained its importance and its relationship to teaching Arabic language to the Turks.

then he moved on the second issue to talk about the importance of teaching Arabic to Turkish learners in the light of Islamic culture, giving details on the educational content that must be followed and how to present it in the light of the Islamic culture through samples of two educational series taught in Turkish schools and universities.

at the end of the study, the researcher found that it is necessary to present the Islamic culture in the curricula of teaching Arabic language to Turkish learners, and exploit it to enrich the educational procedure and make it more beneficial and enjoyable for learners as it is proved by experiences.
