The research aims to know the effect of a strategy that obtains the moon in the achievement of fourth-grade students in science in the subject of physics and the development of spatial thinking skills.
To verify the goal of the research, the researcher formulated the following two zero hypotheses: 1.
There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the mean differences For the post-scale grades in the achievement of physics for students of the two groups (experimental and control).
2.
There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean differences for the degrees of the pre and post scale in the development of spatial thinking skills for students of the two groups (experimental and control).
The researcher approved the experimental design with partial control for equal groups.
The research community is determined by students of fourth grade science in governmental secondary and middle school day schools for girls in the Qadisiyah Governorate Center of the Qadisiyah Education Directorate and for the academic year (2017-2018).
Four classes were chosen, and two classes were chosen randomly (b and c), where the research sample consisted of (76) students by (38) students For both experimental and control groups, The researcher rewarded the two groups with the following variables (chronological age in months, previous academic achievement, intelligence, pre-spatial reasoning skills test).
Relating to the research tools, the researcher built the research tools that were represented by an achievement test consisting of (30) items of the multiple choice type with four alternatives, As for the second tool, it was represented by testing spatial thinking skills consisting of (30) items, and the validity, consistency and coefficient of discrimination were calculated for each of them.
The researcher presented a number of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
