Abstract EN

The idea of a green economy emerged as a result of multiple crises in the Arab region, Its objective, Is to achieve economic development, through the establishment of environmentally friendly projects, using the technology of renewable energy, which calls for the application of this model to existing sectors and changing their unsustainable patterns of consumption, resulting in new employment opportunities that reduce poverty and unemployment, as well as reduce the intensity of energy use, resource consumption and production.

In this context, we seek to develop the idea, to apply an economy based on "the transition to a green economy strategy".

This study see the possibility of applying the green economy model in Palestine, because it has the human and natural components that provide the proper means to implement this economy, and achieve its purposes such as: eliminating unemployment, reducing poverty and achieving welfare in society.
