Summary of Research: This research deals with the topic of the historical development of the concept of the text through tracing the beginings of this concept and the stages of its development, starting from Abu Uthman Omar bin Bahr Al-Jahiz until Julia Acristeva who is the pioneer of the semiotic thinking stream nowaday.

and i have tried in this study to sum between The critical and epistemological curves, although the critical curve may overcome.

and i discovered through this researchThe most important manifestations of the epistemic rupture that faces the contemporary critical view of the concept of the text that hapened to it with the traditional perception of the text, and I am sure that this study may not reach all the goals that i seek from it.

however, it remains an attempt to find the historical path of this complex concept.
