Abstract EN

The freedom of thought and the free opinion are two types of the most demand human rights, Furthermore, that this freedom has been enshrined at the international level and within the Algerian Constitution, indeed, freedom of publication and the press should not be used to the detriment of others, in terms of assault against their legally protected freedoms, nor should it be used outside what is legally permitted, otherwise this freedom becomes a punishable offense.

That is vision of the Algerian legislator on establishing a balance between freedoms of the media as a framework for freedom of individuals on the one hand, and protection of the right to privacy as well as the credibility of information, and the security and stability of the country on the other hand.
